The dimension, DPI, and file-size figures used in this tool reflect commonly published guidance for both portals, gathered and cross-checked from publicly available sources. They are not pulled directly from NSDL's or UTIITSL's live systems, and portals do occasionally revise their requirements. We recommend confirming against the current application form before you submit anything important.
Using the correct dimensions and file size does not guarantee that your PAN application will be accepted — other factors, like photo quality, background, and how the portal's review process happens to go, are outside this tool's control.
